K-12 Classroom Attendance on the Kiosk

Updated on

The kiosk can be used for taking attendance within K-12 classrooms. When a K-12 teacher logs into the kiosk, the screen is defaulted to the Classroom Attendance mode. Teachers can scan students' ID badges (via barcode/RFID) or manually enter their student ID when entering the classroom. When the teacher views the Take Attendance screen in the List or Seating Chart view, students who were scanned in during the period will be marked present. Students who were not scanned in during the period will be marked absent. Student attendance records are not officially updated until the teacher reviews attendance and clicks Save on the Take Attendance screen.

The Classroom Attendance feature is not available for CTE/Postsecondary schools.
