Student Summary

The Student Summary screen displays key student data on one screen, including ESE, ELL, and 504 indicators, current enrollment/attendance details, custodial contacts, select demographic fields, current year grade summaries, test history, discipline graphs, published reports, and applicable ESE exceptionality details (for Florida districts). The Student Summary respects your permissions, e.g. if your profile does not have view permissions to Test History, the Test History section of the screen does not display.

1. In the Students menu, click Summary.

2. On the Search Screen, enter search criteria to locate the student and click Search.

You can also access the Student Summary screen by clicking Summary at the top of the student's record in Student Info.

The Student Summary is displayed. At the top-left corner of the screen, ESE, 504, and ELL indicators display, if applicable. The next block displays an enrollment/attendance summary, including total full days possible, total full days attended, total full days absent, and enrollment dates. The next block(s) list the student's custodial contacts.

4. Hover over the contact to view details in a tool-tip. Click the contact to view the contact information in Addresses & Contacts.

In the Demographics section, student fields that were enabled by your district to be visible on the Student Summary are displayed.

The Current Grades section displays a summary of the student's grades.

The Test History section displays the student's test history. This may include trend graphs for tests taken multiple times, if enabled by your district.

The Discipline section displays discipline referral graphs for Action Days, Discipline Code, Location, Time, Weekday, and Month.

The Reports section displays any files that have been published to the Student Portal.

The ESE Exceptionalities section (Florida only) displays the ESE Exceptionalities logging field if the student has an exceptionality.
